SERRANO, Nani (Alcoy, Alicante, España). “Mostrar sin mostrar”, 2013. Pintura acrílica mediante aerógrafo sobre madera. Se adjunta certificado de autenticidad. Medidas: 123 x 69 cm. Nani Serrano se inició como diseñadora gráfica y dibujo publicitario, prosiguio con en el arte de la aerografía, el collage y otro tipo de obras en las que prioriza el trabajo manual, y a través de las que trata de unir arte e ilustración. Ha sido incluida en el catálogo de “Ilustradores españoles” (Ed. Lunwerg), que recoge lo más destacado de la ilustración actual. Ha expuesto en la galería Agora 3 (Sitges, 2012); Art Window (2012); Espace Cultural Ample (2011, 2010, 2009); Desig (2008); Expo_7 (2005), La Guillotina (Valencia, 99), entre otras. Explora las posibilidades expresivas de la pintura con aerógrafo, técnica que domina con virtuosismo. Se sirve de ella para hacer dialogar disciplinas y lenguajes: fotografía, pintura histórica..., para reflexionar sobre las representaciones femeninas habidas en el arte y en la publicidad. En palabras de la artista: “La mujer es mi temática predilecta, eje principal para exponer la intimidad y la sensualidad. Inspiración en la fotografía de realismo mentiroso, manipulado por mi retina que ensaya y aprende en un ejercicio de perfección de la técnica. Busco mi universo personal desafiando los discursos estéticos y las tendencias concediéndome el derecho de ser fiel a mi percepción hallada en mi libre disciplina”. Cuando Nani representa fragmentos corporales de mujeres que esconden su pubis tras racimos de uvas, hilvana desde una óptica personal la historia iconográfica de la seducción femenina fundiendo referencias a la mitología griega, al simbolismo cristiano y al empobrecimiento de sus connotaciones metafóricas en manos de la publicidad.

With very urban forms, it shows elements of industrialization, until reaching some invented architectures and mechanical artifices based on geometric superimpositions, creating three-dimensional metaphorical spaces. Artwork in good condition. Josep Grau-Garriga (Sant Cugat, 1929 – Saint Mathurin Sur Loire -France-, 2011) studied at the “Llotja” School of Arts and Crafts and at the Barcelona School of Fine Arts. A painter by training, he Artworked in the field of mural painting and stained glass and came into contact with the world of tapestry, starting with the old Casa Aymat factory in Sant Cugat. It was he who introduced the renewal of tapestry art at the level of the entire Spanish state and he did it from this manufacture and from the artistic section that he directed from 1957 to 1970. The Catalan School of Tapestry was created there and the renewal would come from there. and the new concepts of art in this discipline. In addition to his Artwork in the field of textiles, his creations are also inclined towards pictorial Artwork, creating a lot of collage and assemblage, where the fabric has a prominent role. Since 1992 he lived in Saint Mathurin Sur Loire -Angers- (France). The French government awarded him the distinction of Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts el des Lettres and in 1985 he received the Creu de Sant Jordi distinction from the Generalitat de Catalunya.
