Starting from a first figurative stage, Guinovart's Artwork derives from a large-format social theme. In 1957, influenced by the abstract current and informalism, a new three-dimensional perspective emerged within his creative aesthetics with the integration of objects and material treatment. His Artworks, plastic expressions of fertile chromaticism, clinging to the countryside and the earth, generate a poetic dialogue between suggestive signs and gestures. In 1982 he won the National Prize for Plastic Arts and in 1990 he was awarded by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
